AVEMAX MACHINERY
Manford Machinery, a Taiwan-based company specializing in the production of standard milling machines, began manufacturing standard milling machines in 1987. As sales grew, so did Manford's production, expanding to offer a full range of machines and soon developing a full line of CNC machining centers. Gradually, with the accumulation of experience, Manford became one of the leading manufacturers of milling machines, a brand known worldwide for its unrivaled quality and professional service.
Today, when many Taiwanese brands have been replaced by cheaper and lower-quality alternatives, Manford continues to produce high-quality machines, adhering to the MIT manufacturing principles. Colchester Machine Tools is a division of the 600 Group, which encompasses many leading brands of machine tools: Colchester lathes, Harrison lathes, Pratt Burnerd chucks, and Clausing machine tools.
The Colchester plant itself was founded in 1897 and became part of the 600 Group in 1954, where it remains to this day. In 2018, the group of companies rebranded and became Colchester Machine Tool Solutions.
TONG YI MACHINERY INC. (Dowell Brand), a Taiwanese manufacturer of surface grinding machines, has two business lines: manufacturing light and medium-heavy surface grinding machines and foundry. Fulland Machinery Co., Ltd. is a manufacturer of CNC machining centers and continues the tradition of its predecessor, Fulland Machinery, founded in 1987 in Taichung, Taiwan. The company successfully developed and manufactured 29 different types of components and technological methods to improve machining center models, which were supplied worldwide to Taiwan, China, Japan, Europe, South America, and other markets. During this period of development, equipment such as machining centers with linear roller guides, sliding guides, and two-column (gantry) machining centers were manufactured.
In late 2008, the company faced the global financial crisis, prompting a reorganization of its financial and personnel infrastructure. Production was then restarted under the name Geon Cheng Technology in early 2009.
